The company SUER which is one of the partners of Visutech System, provided the equipment made by CREVIS Korean Company, to test EtherCAT protocol.
SUER is an exclusive distributor of CREVIS products in the countries of the Eurasian Union.
Visutech System specialists assembled a stand which simulates discrete and analog signals of external devices in amount of 800 Byte. For instance, 300 - analog and 1600 - discrete signals. Such distribution is typical for automation of technological process of rather large control objects of industrial enterprises.
IPC Block VP-1437 CREVIS was used as a master device with installed on it INtime real-time operational system and VS EtherCAT Master.

VS EtherCAT Studio was used to configure a network.
As a result, a Cycle time of 500μs was achieved when simulating 1900 slave signals. Such cycle time allows registering critical rapidly changing parameters of control objects that is impossible with standard industrial protocols.
